Who we are

Uganda Children’s Trust enables access to education for children with physical and sensory challenges, and for children with no family support. Our programmes are in north west Uganda on the border with South Sudan and DR Congo. It is a region which has suffered greatly from many years of fighting. It is now a place of refuge for many people displaced from the conflicts in the bordering countries. Since 2014 we have been working in partnership with local leaders and local communities to make education a reality for children who would otherwise have little or no chance of ever going to school.
