Yiarite Independence and Vocational Training Programme

The Independence and Vocational Training Programme is the move on home for the young people from Ombachi Orphanage whose education was sponsored by UCT. Yiarite is a two year programme which consists of supported accommodation to learn the skills and responsibilities  of living independently. In addition, each young person is enrolled with a local employer from whom they learn a vocational skill of their choice which will be the source of their future employment and income.
